I enjoy the challenge of figuring out the creative solution whether it’s digital, social media, fashion, or graphic design.
For me, it started on the runway, watching designs seamlessly appear during my first fashion show. I was instantly hooked at the age of 10 on the idea of being able to transform something as simple as fabric into my own creation. I spent late nights sewing, my hands stinging from the needle pricks and being tired from working at it for too long, but I wanted to share my passion with others. Twelve years after my first fashion show, I graduated with my BFA in Fashion Design, and was given the opportunity to enter the design world as a graphic designer.
Beyond the runway, I’ve gotten the opportunity to grow in the digital realm and lead teams of designers, coders, writers, social media specialists, and web enthusiasts to design solutions for brands and causes.
As a leader, it’s important to have a clear vision for a project, and guide my team to curate and cultivate their ideas so we can accomplish any challenge. It means knowing how designers work; what makes them tick, knowing when they're stuck or need help.
I spend my free time crossfitting, sewing, hiking with my husband and our rescue dog, and rearranging a room dedicated to my dresses (okay... and shoes).
